After a hard-faught journey, starting in the second division of the St. Kitts and Nevis Football league, Conaree Football Club has reached the premiership. The team is currently training at the local cricket fields in preparation for their first term in the prestigeous premier league. Dango Farell of Farrell's Canvas has been in charge. However, there is some uncertainty as to who will be the Head Coach for the 2005-2006 season.
With the season only one-month away, Conaree has scheduled a pre-season tournament at the Newtown Grounds. The tournament includes two teams from St. Maarten/Tortola and also Newtown's club under coach Lennie Lake. The exact times have not yet been scheduled, but the tournament will be the first weekend of September.
