C.F.C. HANDED FIRST LOSS
On Sunday, the 19th of September, Conaree suffered its' first loss to a quality Garden Hotspurs club under Coach Deco Huggins. The match was played at the Atles Grounds, a neutral site, during St. Kitts' Independence weekend. The final score was 2-1, however, the conclusion to the viewers was that Conaree beat themselves. Many opportunities were missed in front of net and there was conflict outside of the game between management and players. This resulted in the indefinite-suspension of one defender from all club activities including training-sessions. This is a difficult punishment for all the players as this defender has been a motivator and role-model throughout the past two-month pre-season.
After a practice-session on Tuesday, Coach Dango Farell expressed his confidence in the newly promoted team and said that a re-match is in the works for this coming weekend. "With a full conaree squad, no team in St. Kitts can knock us..."
