Newtown defeats Conaree
Sunday, 13th November. In the first match of the double header, Conaree took on the undefeated TDC Newtown FC. It appeared to be an upset when Byon Morson put CFC ahead in the 14th minute. The score remained 1-0 going into the locker room but Newtown would come out more organized in the second. Zevon Achibald scored two quick goals, starting in the 60th, to put TDC ahead. A comeback became unattainable when kiethroy Richards scored the third in the 80th minute. So, Newtown moves to 10 points on the season trailing only village with 12. Conaree is still stuck on a disappointing 3. CFC meets Cayon next week. The first-division champs are tied at fifth with conaree and this match could be a turning point in the season.
